The Psi-Files: aka My Personal X-Files

The majority of my adventures delve significantly into what most perceive as the normal world. That said, the motivations for what originally propelled me into and continue to propel me in my adventures, are from the paranormal world. This is the world of the Occult, Psi and superhuman capabilities, Ancient Mythical civilizations, cryptozoology, strange energy phenomena, UFO’s, ultra and intra-terrestrials.

The original motivation for my first bicycle trip came around the spring of 2001, when something in my gut said I needed to get out of the USA and head to South America. What preceded that gut feeling, came in the year 1999, when on the Amtrak train from Philadelphia to Boston, I went into a meditative, hypnotic state, and drew a picture of a woman who I never met in my sketch book, and closed the book. It was the first, and last time I was ever able to draw a face of a person without a photo, realistically.

Drawing of the woman that came from my subconscious. November 26th, 1999. She was no where near the Northeast during that time. I met her for the first time the following year, November 2000, at the Orpheum Theater, Boston. She’s from South West Florida.

In the year 2000, I met that woman for the first time, and the drawing matched. I think this was when I began to become aware of a latent psi ability that I had in me, which I am still experimenting with and have not completely come to terms with.

Due to this psi ability, I packed away my things, closed the lease on my apartment in Watertown, MA, got bicycle touring equipment and gear, sent the picture to the woman, who was from Florida, and left the country. I told some close friends of mine before leaving that something massive was about to happen to the world, and I needed to get the hell out to South America. I couldn’t explain why I had to go there in particular.

The natural thing to do when you have a precognition of someone you’re going to meet, draw her, and then meet her a year later. Run away. Far far away. Yeah, I’m very Gemini…

I arrived in Lima, Peru, on August 1st, 2001. Just a month and 11 days from the fateful day of September 11th, 2001, when two planes hit the twin towers in New York City, and Building 5 collapsed on itself with nothing hitting it. It was from that day onwards that I realized the latent psi ability I have was guiding me forwards.

In the two decades since, I’ve experienced recurring, physical attacks by demons, encountered an actual stargate, got zapped by strange energy phenomena that didn’t make sense physically or biologically, unless you factored in a psi component, had a terrifying encounter with Big Foot and survived, seen UFO’s twice, did experiments in ESP to verify psi and synchronicities, gone on ghost hunts where I had a conversation with an invisible person, underwent hypnotic regression to explore the the soul’s records and past life memories, found archaeological and geological anomalies that fly in the face of conventional mainstream conclusions, and explored the boundaries of human consciousness.

It is impossible for me to write a record of my adventures, past and on-going, without acknowledging how significant those experiences with psi and the paranormal were in influencing my decisions and motivations. For a long time, I thought I was cursed to have the experiences and abilities that I have. To be able to feel the feelings of an intimate relationship at a distance, even half way around the world in separation physically, and be able to correlate it with a phone call to hear her on the other end verifying that sensation, which was often times painful, was not something I cherished. In fact, it often felt like a form of physical and spiritual torture.

In my journeys, I began to notice that certain kinds of people who I could identify with similar experiences all seemed to share a similar characteristic.

Those of us who have this sort of ESP, precognition, clairvoyance, telekinesis, and other psi abilities, and actively use and exercise it have it genetically inherited, and for whatever reason, we have it physically expressed. I know at least in my family, I got it from my father, who predicted the fall of Saigon, told my mother, and they both got out literally on the last ship before the Communists overtook the city, escaping Vietnam and the war with their lives, to have me in the USA a year later. Maybe surviving the Vietnam War was what activated that ability in him.

In all of my experiences, I’ve developed a firm belief that I would not have had those experiences without some kind of psi ability. Everything, in my mind, comes back to that ability, because psi allows me to experience things at the edges of reality. It would explain why a few people experience these things versus the vast majority who don’t.

Few have activated psi abilities.

RIP Matt Y. I miss you and our paranormal adventures together.

In addition, a dear friend, and fellow paranormal investigator, my friend Matt, died last year in October, 2021. Matt and I had many long discussions about creating a site about our paranormal investigations. He was the one who introduced me to ghost hunting and the equipment used for it that I continue to use for my own explorations. He was also the one to take me to TALA in West Virginia for a truly haunting experience.

Our paranormal investigation squad. Those things in my hand are essential items for paranormal investigation. The skull is there to remind the dead that they are DEAD. And the sock is full of salt. Cause you never know when you have to clock a ghostly mutha f–ka…

This section of the site is dedicated to those stories, and to the memories I have of Matt and I driving out to haunted sites in West Virginia, New Orleans, Savannah, Georgia, Roswell, New Mexico and Coral Castle, Florida, to investigate the
boundaries of reality. Thanks Matt. Site’s finally up, and now you’re a ghost. Lemme know when we can have a conversation like we did with that invisible person.

Welcome to the Psi-Files.
